Hi, I am Marie and I am a Bridal Room Design Stylist and the creator of Blushing Bride Rooms. I work closely with brides to create the ultimate bridal experience beginning with the bride’s room. My passion for designing has been a lifelong journey since I was a young girl. My bed was always neatly made and my room was perfectly clean. Everything always had a place. Many times I had been told that my room could be a showroom in a furniture store or a magazine. From a young age I found joy in making things look beautiful. I had a strong desire to design and create exquisite rooms. Because of this desire, it wasn’t uncommon for my mother to come home from work to her living room completely rearranged. Sometimes she’d let me leave the furniture where I placed it, and other times I’d have to put the furniture back. As a young girl I always thought I’d have a career in interior design. But life happened and goals changed. Over the years I found myself working in customer relations, hospitality and clothing design.
I have experience working with different fabrics, textures and elements to create visual interest in my designs. I have an eye for design and a natural talent for organization. I pay close attention to even the smallest of detail to ensure that my work is flawless in design and executed to perfection. These skills have played a pivotal role in my career not only in hospitality and clothing design, but in designing the most exquisite thing of all… A Bride’s Room.

about me…
I am a small town girl at heart who was born and raised in south-central Utah. First and foremost I am a mother to three beautiful, amazing daughters and a grandmother to the cutest little curly headed grandson. My favorite thing to do is spend time with my little family. Outside of family, I enjoy dancing, skiing and movie nights with my daughters. Mostly I simply enjoy being in the moment with the ones that I love. Despite growing up in a small town, I have lived in many places both big and small. I love to try new things, explore new places and go on spur of the moment road trips and adventures. Some of my favorite places include New York City, Daytona Beach and the Oregon Coast.
Some of my favorite things include watching lightning storms and listening to thunder. I also enjoy walks in the rain, especially in the fall. With that being said, Autumn is my favorite season and my favorite colors are orange, turquoise and blush pink. I love maple trees with bright red leaves, cozy sweaters, boots, firplaces and the cool, crisp autumn air. My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving and my go to comfort food on cool fall days is homemade chicken noodle soup with fresh baked rolls. My favorite aromas include Cinnamon-Vanilla, Fresh Baked Apple Pie, Farm Apple & Pumpkin and anything Pumpkin Spice. (Yes, I am a pumpkin-spice kind of girl.) On cooler fall days I enjoy watching Gilmore Girls and Reba while drinking a cup of hot apple cider. But my favorite thing to do is design Bridal Rooms.
